Single Origin Ceremonial Grade Cacao that is free from Lead and heavy metals directly from local the El Salvadorian family farm Yugo Collective.

Mari Cacao by Yugo Collective comes from Criollo and Trinitario trees, specifically Trinitario acriollado, a cross Salvadoran farmers favor for combining the disease resistance of its Forastero parent with the exquisite, floral sweetness of its Criollo parent, one of the world's most prized and least common varieties. It is single-origin, grown in El Salvador, and ceremonial grade from start to finish. Yugo Collective farms are organic, free of chemical pesticides, and our farms are heavy-metal tested by BeaconPoint Labs, so quality is never just a promise, it's verified.

Yugo Collective Mari Cacao is grown with care in mineral-rich volcanic soil, harvested at peak ripeness, and processed to preserve every beneficial compound, just the wholesome power of the cacao bean as nature intended, connecting you to the earth and the hands that nurture it.

Yugo Collective farms practice agroforestry, growing cacao beneath a forest canopy rather than on cleared land. This protects biodiversity, prevents soil erosion, and keeps the land healthy for generations to come, the same volcanic, mineral-rich soil that gives Mari Cacao its distinct flavor.

These are small, family-run farms, where cacao-growing knowledge has been passed down through generations. Yugo Collective believes in direct, fair-trade relationships, paying our farmers fairly for the labor and craft required to grow this rare variety by hand, and reinvesting in the communities that grow it.
